Brilliant bronze color. Aromas and flavors of book-pressed flowers, ripe banana tree, cocoa-dusted dark roasted nuts and oranges, and creme brulee with tropical fruit compote with a satiny, bright, dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body and a tingling, complex, very long finish with accents of roasted coconut milk in a copper mug, waffles with peach-pepper jam, sweet and peppery spices, and sandalwood. A round and poised very-long-aged Rum with lovely integration of fruity cane and spicy barrel flavors; this is an easy choice for a fine sipping Rum.

Añejo and Age-Dated Rums are aged Rums from different vintages or batches that are mixed together to insure a continuity of flavor in brands of Rum from year to year. Some aged Rums will give age statements stating the youngest Rum in the blend (e.g., 10-year-old Rum contains a blend of Rums that are at least 10 years old).
