Gold color. Aromas and flavors of Red Vines, gingerbread, corn meal and almond flour, and leather and mulling spices with a round, lively, dry medium body and a warming, interesting, medium-length finish displaying notes of cinnamon toast rye bread, kettle corn and vanilla, cracked black pepper, and fresh garden herbs with mint and red berries. Some young barrels in here and particularly some young rye but there are lovely layers of complexity and delicious grain flavors that make it all worthwhile.
