Medium brilliant gold color. Aromas and flavors of spiced apple oatmeal cookie, honey, vanilla cream creme brulee, field of flowers and sweet hay after a heavy rain, lemongrass, green apple, and and white pear with an oily, tangy, dry medium-full body and a warming, elegant, very long finish with shades of vanilla caramel cream, bowl of warm oatmeal with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove, and cardamom, green apple with umami and sesame candies, and white flowers and lemongrass. Laser focused on showing the essence of barley using a kaleidoscope of barley flavors; an elegant barrel influence that is there in support of the barley rather than outshining it.

Single malt Irish whiskeys, like their Scottish cousins, are whiskies that are only made with malted barley. They are usually triple distilled through both column and pot stills, although there are a few exclusively pot-distilled brands.
