Golden amber color. Funky, fruity, oaky, dusty aromas and flavors of cigar cabinet, natural yeast on fruit funk, red cherry and cinnamon chocolate toast, and clove studded orange zest with a velvety, lively, dry medium body and a warming, elegant, medium-long finish manifesting suggestions of dried apricot and tangerine, cherry marzipan, ligero tobacco, and cinnamon roll. The funky and fruity fresh cane is bright and flavorful with some dusty but tasty oak influence; a contemplative sipper to pair with a medium bodied spicy cigar.

Fresh cane juice rums are made with fresh sugar cane juice instead of molasses, but are not AOC or DO products, such as Martinique Rhum, Haitian Rhum or Cachaça. These are often of excellent quality with nutty, spicy flavors and a tangy finish and are perfect for cocktails or with the best examples, ideal as a sipping rum.
