Medium light gold color. Aromas and flavors of lightly smoked yellow cake batter, tonka bean in white tea, vanilla marzipan and sea salt, and red apple with a velvety, vibrant, dry medium body and a warming, interesting, medium-length finish with suggestions of flamed lemon peel, birthday cake, nature valley honey granola bar, dried cranberries, ginger, and and sassafras root. Delicious albeit with a bit of youthful aggression and grain forward; adore the honey almond notes, light smoke, and delicate mineral edge to the fruits.
