Golden amber color. Aromas of smoked cinnamon bun, raspberry, cherry nougat, fig preserves on bread pudding with raisins and orange marmalade, and spiced smoky plum sauce with a fat body and a very long spiced cherries smoked over a fire of potpourri, peppered plum sauce served with roasted nuts and korean bbq, leather and ligero tobacco, and smoky black tea with honey blackberry syrup and bbq kettle chips finish. Before the tongue went pleasantly numb, possibly the best thing consumed this year; charred red fruits and baking spices interwoven into the ultimate sweet and savory BBQ.

Island Whisky refers to whisky made on the islands off the Scottish mainland, except for Islay. This includes the Orkney Isles; and the Western Islands (Arran, Jura, Mull, and Skye). These whiskies are characterized by various levels of smokiness and a distinctive, ethereal sea air quality.
