Medium golden amber color. Aromas and flavors of dried oak staves and marigolds, sea salted caramel, honey, toffee, and bread pudding, and golden raisin and spiced apple with a velvety, crisp, dry medium body and a tingling, interesting, medium-length finish with overtones of honey nut cheerios and apple jacks, spiced cherry and poached pear, caramelized plantains, and baking spices. Light and crisp with a fruity and almost honeyed grain character; a lovely dry Rum that will have crossover appeal with Single Malt drinkers.

Rum Aged more than 3 Years

Añejo and Age-Dated Rums are aged Rums from different vintages or batches that are mixed together to insure a continuity of flavor in brands of Rum from year to year. Some aged Rums will give age statements stating the youngest Rum in the blend (e.g., 10-year-old Rum contains a blend of Rums that are at least 10 years old). A small number of French island Rums are Vintage Dated.
