Gold color. Aromas and flavors of pears on a tree, dried citrus peels and peach pit, waxy apple and round, and mossy earth with a soft, bright, dryish medium body and a smooth, breezy finish that shows notes of pressed white flowers, grilled yellow apples and nuts, turned earth, and pickled onion with a suggestion of oak flavor. A nice, dry French white with texture and body complemented by a refreshing finish that will be a fine aperitif or to pair with salads.

Southern French whites include wines from regions such as the Cotes du Roussillon, Languedoc and the Pyrenees. Most of these wines are light to medium-bodied and meant to be enjoyed in their youth. Examples include wines made from Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat.
