Brilliant gold color. Aromas of whipped banana soufflé, coriander, and hints of aniseed with a round, vibrant, finely carbonated, dry-yet-fruity light-to-medium body and a sleek, complex, medium-long ripe peach, nectarine, and fresh french baguette finish. A round, balanced and complex Belgian Style Golden Ale that’s sure to please.

Belgian Style Golden Ale

Belgian style golden ales are pale gold to deep gold in color with a deceptive alcoholic punch, ranging from 7-10.5%. These beers are heavily hopped, resulting in floral aromas and a tangy, fruity finish. These brews typically undergo three fermentations, the final one being in the bottle, resulting in fine champagne-like carbonation and a huge rocky white head when poured. Often such beers can be cellared for six months to a year to gain roundness. These beers are best served chilled to minimize the alcoholic mouthfeel. Noteworthy examples of this style include: Duvel, Unibroue Don De Dieu and Delirium Tremens.
