Golden yellow color. Aromas of porridge with cream tropical fruit and honey, baked apricot and peach, roasted plantain, and grains of paradise with a fat body and a very long multigrain sourdough toast, peach, cucumber, and lemon pepper on biscuit dough finish. A superbly flavorful and balanced Abby Singel comprised of a beautiful interplay of sweet grains and warm baked bread with a wonderfully long and warming finish.

Trappist or Abbey Singel

Trappist or abbey style singels are golden to light amber in color and range in alcohol from 5-6.5%. Also referred to as “patersbier” or “father’s” beer, these ales are rarely available commercially and are the beers monks have traditionally brewed for their own table and daily consumption. While there is no real style definition for these beers, they are usually highly refreshing and feature fruity and spicy Belgian yeast-driven flavors and aromas. This style is rarely available commercially.
