Dark golden amber color. Aromas and flavors of malt candy, black licorice and sassafras, vanilla raspberry nougat, and plum sauce with a round, lively, petillant, off-dry medium-to-full body and a medium-length finish conveying notes of caramel malt, plum sauce, chocolate, and teriyaki and umami. A delicious, malty classic with a rich and complex umami character on the finish.

A Quadrupel ale as the name and math implies, is an even stronger version of a Belgian Tripel ale and can be thought of as Belgian strong ale. It has rich, chewy malt and typical Belgian yeast complexity with warming high alcohol (9-14%ABV) and a dark color. These are best savored in small quantities on their own, or with desserts or rich cream cheeses.
