Light brushed amber color. Aromas and flavors of dried raspberry, mushrooms, peanut shells, and dates with a round, lively, spritzy, dry medium body and an interesting, medium-length finish that exhibits notes of wet leaves. Textured with an interesting interplay of dried red fruit and soft, sweet earth tones.

Blanc de Noirs

Blanc de Noirs is a term used for sparkling wine that means "white from red." In Champagne, a Blanc de Noirs is made from red grapes exclusively (Pinot Noir and/or Pinot Meunier); there is no skin contact, so a Blanc de Noirs Champagne has just a trace or blush of color.

Blanc de Noirs for other sparkling wines, such as those produced in California, must contain red grapes, but white grapes are allowed. These wines do have some copper or salmon color to them.

As a Blanc de Noirs will contain all or some red varieties in the finished cuvée, these can be paired with main courses, especially duck, game birds or veal.
