Dusty garnet color. Aromas and flavors of chocolate covered cherries, blackberry, blueberry and plums, and green and black tea leaves with a round, lively, dry medium-full body and a warming, complex, medium-length finish revealing notes of cherry, cocoa, coconut and marzipan, and candied pepper bacon with grilled herbs with crunchy, chewy, medium tannins and light oak flavor. An interesting Zinfandel-dominant blend that could be an everyday drinker but has enough depth, complexity, and structure to change and possibly improve with cellar time.
