Aromas and flavors of purple flowers, roasted blackberries, black pepper, and leather with a velvety, lively, dry medium body and a warming, interesting, medium-length finish displaying overtones of grape jelly and black pepper on saddle leather, figs, and almost sweet black olives with chewy, well-integrated tannins and light oak flavor. A delicious red wine pairing for grilled or roasted red meat courses.
