Light gold color. Aromas and flavors of molasses ginger cookie, sweet grass, fresh waffle, and praline and cinnamon with a round, vibrant, dry medium body and a warming, distinctive, very long finish with accents of sugar cookie, tonka bean, lemongrass on a caramel stroopwaffel, and walnut and leather. The barley is prominently featured here but the layers of barrel flavor are harmoniously integrated; seems youthful and vibrant except for the long and luxurious finish with some rancio and oak tannins which speak to some real age here.
