Bronze color. Aromas and flavors of rising pastry dough, caramelized nuts, bourbon barrel, and rocky road ice cream with a lightly tannic, dry-yet-fruity medium-full body and a peppery, interesting, long finish that shows overtones of spiced toffee, black licorice, chai, and pepper. A clean, rich, well-aged overproof Rum for powerhouse punches and the like.

Overproof Rum also known as Navy Proof Rum, is Rum in any style that is over 40% ABV (or 80 Proof) and is traditionally robustly flavored. Favored by British sailors from the early 1700s until the mid-seventies, it was often mixed with water to form a ‘grog’ to be drunk by sailors out at sea.
