Nevers
Nevers is one of the types of French oak used for wine barrels. It is similar to Alliers in that both come from central France and both woods are tight-grained. It is pronounced by the French with neither syllable accented; by Americans with the "er" heavily accented. (The "s," being last in a French word, is silent.) (Wine,Beer,Spirits,Sake,Mead/Production)
