Golden amber color. Aromas and flavors of plum wine, caramelized plantain, and salted caramel with a satiny, lively, spritzy, dryish medium body and a delightful, medium-length finish displaying elements of dark caramel, toasted banana nut bread, slightly burnt toffee, and caraway. Just the beer for a cold winter’s night in the mountains or the upper Midwest.

Bocks range in color from pale to deep amber and in alcohol from 6-7%. These beers are an exposition of malty sweetness that is classically associated with the character and flavor of Bavarian malt. Hop aromas are generally low, though hop bitterness can serve as a balancing factor against the malt sweetness. Bocks are a specific type of strong lager, historically associated with Germany-- specifically the town of Einbeck. Noteworthy examples of this style include: Full Sail LTD 01, Stiegl Bock and Anchor Bock.
