Black ruby color. Aromas and flavors of dark chocolate mousse with mint, spicy boysenberry pie a la mode, raisin compote, and sassafras with a supple, bright, fruity medium-to-full body and a tingling, interesting, medium-long finish that shows notes of caramel apple, roasted nuts in vanilla custard, cedar, and curry with moderate oak flavor. A brawny, brooding, barrel-chested red that brings a boatload of bright, chewy, blue fruits to the bash.
